A:Yes they can and we do. Have had them installed for 20 days now. Q: Can these bulbs be used on a 8' fluorescent fixture that the base says T-12 ? A:These are 8ft bulbs and are for use in a standard 8ft fixture. T-12 referes to the diameter and this will not be a factor for these bulbs. They are a single pin base or FA8, not a two prong "bi-pin" as some fixtures so make sure this is correct. Also, you will need to bypass the ballast, and wire one side to neutral and the other side to hot Q: What is recommended for an office? Clear or frosted A1:I think the frosted will keep glare down,The clear seems to be a bit brighter. A2:Frosted for sure,clear for workshop Q: Does this bulb sag in the middle?
